What is the AP?
Advanced Placement (AP) programs offer university-level classes and exams to high school students.The goal is to experience and succeed in post-secondary level work while still attending high school. The course work in a given subject is generally equivalent to a first-year university course. As a result, a student who achieves a score of 4 or 5 out of 5 is usually permitted to skip the corresponding course as a first year student in university.
